Bought an EQ pedal for my acoustic guitar. The Fishman Rare Earth pickup has no on-board controls, so I'm at the mercy of whatever I'm playing through. No bueno. I now have some control over how the thing's going to sound. Cheaper than an amp, or spending more cheese to modify my $300 guitar. Next time I'll just buy one with the nicer pickup and electronics already installed.
This is a fun place to play, and I hope to get back there soon. There are real gigs on the horizon, songs to write, ladies to woo...
