Toodlin' 'round downtown, lookin' for the music scene (which is here, but keeps itself well-hidden). Spoke with Scott Thompson, whose gig it was tonight. He invited me to play a few. His keyboard player jumped in on the Cash songs. The booking guy found me afterwards, said he liked what I did, we exchanged numbers. Hold on to your nuts, Rome. I'm comin' for your milkshake.
